A Note from Reba - Fall 2006
Fall reminds me of rich, warm colors, leather and suede and soft knits. In the fall, you need the coolness of cotton for the warm days, and the warmth of sweaters and layering pieces for the chill of night. At REBA we’ve combined all of these elements, along with comfort and femininity and a certain toughness, to create a fall collection I’m very proud of.
Since we’ve been in our sophomore year now for a few months, I’ve had a chance to look back on the past year and see what has worked and what hasn’t worked. I’ve learned from the customer what she likes and what she doesn’t like. For instance, the REBA jean has been one of our most popular items. We’ve taken that great jean fit and added bling and embellishment and different color treatments to offer unique jean looks throughout the fall. We’ve also continued to expand our popular sweater knits with more special features including beads and intricate design work.
As the REBA line continues to grow, I think you will see more of my personal style in each and every piece. We have a great looking western shirt for August, plus a leather jacket that you’ll see me wearing a lot. For the holiday months, we’ve developed a rich rose red combined with an elegant shade of black. This is always been one of my favorite color combinations and I think the pieces we created with it are truly beautiful. All in all, I think the fabrics and colors for this season are our best yet.
With your help and feedback, I hope to continue to make clothes you love to wear. Hopefully, each season of meets your needs for every occasion the season brings. Have a wonderful fall.
